Fancy crocheting again? I’ve been eyeing this blanket on Ravelry for a long time, admiring the many beautiful color combinations, and then decided on a colorful, cheerful mix that reminds me of early spring. It’s crocheted with a 3.5mm hook and three different Scheepjes Whirls ( Cotton Candy Man Color 760, Melting Macaron Color 767, Sherbet Rainbow Color 768), which are crocheted alternately. For the most harmonious gradient, start the colors Sherbet Rainbow and Cotton Candy Man from the outside, Melting Macaron from the inside. I cast on 226 stitches and crocheted until the first of the Whirls was used up. Strangely, quite a bit was left of one Whirl. I used that to edge the entire blanket with single stitches. The finished size is 98 x 132 cm. The blanket is a bit of a labor of love, but with the constant color changes, it’s an absolute fun project.
